Ingredients for Apple Cookies Recipe

2 c Flour
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Butter
1 Egg
1 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1-1/3 c Brown sugar
1 c Raisins
1 c Apples (any kind); chopped

1 c Nuts (walnuts or pecans are

1/2 ts Nutmeg
1/2 ts Cloves

Apple Cookies Preparation

submitted by: sgjg6566@pipeline.com (Julie, Michigan, USA) Sift together flour, soda, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and salt. Cream the butter and brown sugar; add egg and beat til fluffy. Add dry ingredients and mix alternately to creamed mixture. Add the fruit and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 8-10 minutes.
