Review Summary: Top-quality bakeware
Review: I have a set of loaf pans made just like this cake pan, from the same manufacturer. They have given me several years of perfect service, so I was delighted to find this pan. I have used it once and washed it twice (in the dishwasher), and it is just as good as the loaf pans. It cooks evenly, and food does not want to stick to the surface.
As one other reviewer mentioned, letting the pan soak would probably cause problems. I would be careful not to use a sharp knife to cut anything in the pan, nor would I scrub it with anything abrasive - that should all go without saying. With good care, I'm confident it will hold up for a very long time.

Review Summary: Simply the best value
Review: I have been collecting Chicago Metallic bakeware to replace all my old, rusted bakeware. It is great value for the dollar, and gives superior results every time. I will continue adding to my collection.

Review Summary: Sturdy
Review: I just cooked a Lasagna in this pan and it worked just fine. This is not a non-stick pan but clean-up was very easy. A good pan for everything I even made gravy from a roast in it.

Review Summary: Would recommend for all
Review: These are some of the heaviest duty pans I've ever used. I bought it as a gift and wish I had ordered another for myself.

Review Summary: Another great Chicago Metallic Product
Review: This thing feels like a WWII landing craft. It's heavy, not pretty, but it sure gets the job done. This pan could be around long after the end of life as we know it.
Just keep it clean and dry. Don't let it soak in water or you might be sorry. All these products seem to season like cast iron. The more you use them the darker they get and the slicker they feel as the pores of the metal seal. Be sure to use a baking spray or oil and flour to keep the sticking down.
