This speeds the cooking process and helps save energy. It's a durable and practical form of cookware that's easy to clean and attractive to serve with. PYREX glassware products can go directly from refrigerator or freezer to a microwave, convection, or preheated conventional oven. A small amount of liquid should be added to the ovenware vessel prior to baking foods that release liquids while cooking.

Review: I have three sizes of the Pyrex mixing bowls (Pyrex Prepware 3-Piece Mixing Bowl Set, Clear). They nest nicely and fit well in cabinet. Not too heavy, which is good for holding in one hand while scraping batter or dough out of bowl. Recommend getting lids, because these are nice for serving bowls as well as food prep, and would be handy to go straight to fridge for food storage.
