Ingredients for Broccoli with Pine Nuts Recipe

1 Bunch fresh broccoli
1/2 c Butter or margarine
1/2 c Golden raisins
1 Jar (2.75-oz) pine nuts
2 tb Lemon juice

Broccoli with Pine Nuts Preparation

Steam broccoli until tender but crisp. Melt butter. Stir in raisins and pine nuts. Saut‚ gently until pine nuts are golden, about 3 minutes. Stir in lemon juice and pour over broccoli. If made ahead and kept warm, do not add lemon juice until ready to serve. Slivered almonds may be substituted for the pine nuts. Yield: 6 servings. IRENE VRATSINAS (MRS.
