Ingredients for Butter Pecan Cookies Recipe
1 c Shortening or butter
2 c Brown sugar
3 Eggs
3-1/2 c Flour
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Soda
1-1/2 c Chopped pecans
1 pn Salt
Butter Pecan Cookies Preparation
Cream together shortening and brown sugar. Add eggs and dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in pecans. Form into two rolls and wrap in waxed paper or plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight.
