Ingredients for Cajun Rice and Beans Recipe
1 c Chopped onion
1 Clove minced garlic
1 cn (8-oz) tomato sauce
1 ts Salt
1 c Chopped green pepper
2 tb Oil or shortening
1 cn (15-oz) pinto beans
3 c Hot cooked rice
Cajun Rice and Beans Preparation
In large skillet cook onions, peppers and garlic in fat until tender. Stir in tomato sauce, beans and salt; simmer 10 minutes. Serve over beds of rice.
