Ingredients for Company Rice Recipe

1 c Uncooked regular rice
1 c Chopped onion
1/2 c Butter; melted
1/2 c Seedless raisins
1 cn Sliced mushrooms; drained (4
-oz.)
2 cn Consomm‚; (10 1/2 oz. each)
1/2 c Chopped peanuts
1/2 c Chopped celery

Company Rice Preparation

Lightly brown rice and onion in butter. Combine rice mixture, raisins, mushrooms, consomm‚, peanuts, and celery; mix well. Pour into a 2 quart casserole. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until rice is done. Yield: 8 - 10 servings.
