Great ideas never die, they only improve. The seasoned Advantage Cast Iron Bacon / Panini Press is a handy tool for any outdoor chef. Rest the cast iron press on your skillet or griddle to warm. Use the press on top of rows of bacon to speed cooking times as it cooks from both sides. Set the hot press on top of your favorite bun sandwiches over the grill and let the heat warm the bun. The grill lines from the ridged bottom will sear the sandwich for a tasty presentation.

Review: At one of my favorite dinners and dives I watched how they prepared their food. The Chef used this item for both his bacon and his delicious griddle top Texas toast. I ordered this product on his recommendation. It has good weight and it is well made. It works great for keeping the curl out of the bacon while reducing the grease splatter. And, it's good for 4-5 slices of bacon at a time or 2 griddle top Texas toast slices. I also discovered that when grilling steaks I preheat this on the grill. When I place my steaks on the grill I can then sear both sides of the steak with grill marks and reduce the cooking time. The steaks come off the grill great . I am ordering a few more for my second home and gifts.
