1/2 c Butter
1 c Brown sugar
3/4 c Sugar
1 Egg
1/4 c Milk
2 c Flour
1 ts Baking powder
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Grated orange rind
1-1/2 c Apples, pared and chopped
1 c Cranberries, chopped
Cranberry-Apple Cookies Preparation
(1) Preheat oven to 375 degrees. (2) Cream butter and sugars; beat in egg and milk. (3) Sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir into butter mixture until well blended. (4) Stir in orange rind, apple, and cranberries. Drop onto baking sheets. (5) Bake for 12-15 minutes at 375 degrees. NOTE: Don’t store these in a cookie jar: they will get too mushy.
