Ingredients for Cranberry Fruit Nut Bread 2 Recipe
2 c Flour; sifted
1 c Sugar
1-1/2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Baking soda
1 c Fresh cranberries; chopped
1 ts Grated orange peel
3/4 c Orange juice
1 Egg; well beaten
1 c Chopped nuts
1/4 c Shortening
Cranberry Fruit Nut Bread 2 Preparation
Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Combine peel, juice and egg. Add to dry ingredients, mixing just to moisten. Fold in berries and nuts. Turn into greased 9 x 5 x 3 pan.
