Ingredients for Cranberry Fruit Nut Bread Recipe
2 c Flour
1 c Sugar
1-1/4 ts Baking powder
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/4 c Shortening
1 ts Grated orange peel
1 Beaten egg
3/4 c Orange juice
1 c Chopped cranberries
1/2 c Chopped nuts
1/2 ts Nutmeg
1/2 ts Cinnamon
Cranberry Fruit Nut Bread Preparation
Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Combine peel, juice and egg. Add to dry ingredients, mixing just enough to moisten. Fold in cranberries and nuts. Turn into greased 9×5x3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350ΓΈ for 60 minutes. Cool, wrap, and store overnight before slicing.
