Ingredients for Cucumbers and Onions Recipe
2 md Cucumbers
2 md Onions
Salt
2 tb Mayonnaise (up to 3)
1 tb Sugar
1 tb Vinegar
Cucumbers and Onions Preparation
Peel cucumbers and slice thinly. Layer in shallow dish, sprinkling each layer with salt. Let stand overnight. In the morning, drain cucumbers and rinse. Let dry on paper towels. Slice onions thinly. Mix gently with cucumber slices. Beat together the mayonnaise, sugar ande vinegar until creamy. Stir into mixed cucumbers and onions. The dressing should be generous so the salad is creamy.
