Ingredients for Fresh Apple Butter (Canyon Ranch) Recipe

8 c Thinly sliced apples; peeled
1/2 c Unsweetened apple juice
-concentrate; frozen
1 c Water
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Allspice
1 pn Ground cloves

Fresh Apple Butter (Canyon Ranch) Preparation

Combine apples, undiluted apple juice concentrate, water, cinnamon, allspice and cloves in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Spoon mixture into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Store, tightly covered, in refrigerator.
