Ingredients for Grilled Vegetable Marinade Recipe

1/4 c Lemon juice
1/2 c Olive oil
2 Cloves garlic; minced
1/4 ts Black pepper
1-1/2 ts Basil; oregano or thyme
1/8 ts Hot chili oil or cayenne
-pepper powder
1/2 ts Salt

Grilled Vegetable Marinade Preparation

Whip olive oil into lemon juice and add the rest of the ingredients. Pour into a jar that has a lid. Prepare your vegetables according to the Grilled Vegetables recipe and prepare the grill. As the vegetables cook on the grill, brush repeatedly with this mixture. Shake the mixture before each brushing. Yields: 3/4 cup NOTES : A light, garlic-lemon-basil marinade for grilled vegetables.
