Ingredients for Gumdrop Tea Bread Recipe
2 c Flour
2 ts Baking Powder
1/4 c Sugar — or substitute
1 ts Cinnamon
1 ts Salt
1/4 ts Mace
1/4 ts Nutmeg
2 tb Prune — puree or margarine
1 Egg Beaters. 99% Egg
Substitute
1 c Nonfat Milk
1/2 c Raisins
1/2 c Gumdrops — diced, no black
Ones
4 tb Flour
Gumdrop Tea Bread Preparation
Sift all dry ingredients except the 4 T flour for dredging the fruit and candy. Add liquid to the dry ingredients mixing smooth; don”t beat. Dredge raisins and gumdrops in flour. Add to the batter.
