Ingredients for Half-Hour Apple Butter Recipe

25 oz Jar unsweetened applesauce
1/2 c Sugar
1-1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
1/4 ts Ground allspice
1/8 ts Ground ginger
1/8 ts Ground cloves

Half-Hour Apple Butter Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan, stirring well; bring to a boil. Then reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes; stir often Let cool. Pour mixture into container of electric blender; process at High speed for 10 seconds or until smooth. Store in refrigerator. Yield: about 2 cups.
