I've been using the following KFC recipe for years after finding it on a forum that said someone who worked at KFC created this recipe, so might be an authentic KFC recipe:

1 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups Miracle Whip
2 carrots
2 heads cabbage
3/4 cup chopped onion
4 1/2 teaspoons tarragon vinegar
6 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Mix vegetable oil, onions and sugar.
Add Tarragon vinegar (this is the secret ingredient that makes it KFC like).
Fold in Miracle Whip.
Pour over grated carrots and cabbage.
Fold in well.
Refrigerate in an air-tight covered dish.
Make the night before serving for best results.

Compare with the real KFC Cole Slaw and let me know what you think.
