A microwave oven, browner and toasting oven all in one chassis! Microwave your food in the .8 cubic foot stainless steel interior using the 900 Watts of power or grill some chicken using the 1000 Watt built in quartz heating element or maybe you want to toast a bagel. You can do it all in this multi-use unit. A stainless steel front and handle give the unit a rich, elegant look while the tactile touch keys make it easy to get started. The 60 minute digital rotary timer lets you set your time as well as select one of the 9 preprogrammed menu functions. A large 12 3/8" turntable handles your extra large dinner plates. Two combination cooking keys lets you microwave and grill food such as steaks and fish that need cooking throughout but also a browning to the outside. Child lockout. A wire grilling rack is included.

Review: Worked OK for a year them one morning it was dead. Not a long life and not worth repairing.
Grill never worked that great either. So ended uo using my toaster oven instead.

Everyone who sees this microwave thinks the knob and look is super cool. I myself cannot recall ever seeing another modern microwave with a digital dial.
The "stainless steel" on the outside and inside is easy to clean.
The defrost function works decently and you can set it by the total oz. of food to defrost. pretty nice.
The cons:
Ive never seen a microwave that produces as much steam while cooking than this one. Anything like soup or sauce or popcorn is lost in a fog of cloudiness inside after a minute. I thought i broke the thing the first time i saw that.
For a relatively low-power unit, its pretty massive. Could be a pro as well, but its not fun to carry. I use it as a bread cabinet when not cooking because i live in a cramped apartment.
The "broiler/toaster" feature...yea...completely worthless. Pretty much every review can verify that. I once tried to do a pizza, as suggested in the manual, and the cheese was completely burned (blackened actually), while the rest of it was warm at best.
Without a manual, I would imagine most people would have a hard time figuring out how to adjust things on it. And we all know manuals always find a way to disappear after a while...

Review: We got this as a gift. It worked just under one year. We called Sanyo for some customer service but their "service" was a joke. I asked if maybe there was a setting we accidentally triggered or a reason it wasn't heating, if they knew anything - nope! They didn't care because our "warranty" was no good anymore (even though it stopped working in under a year).
The fan and light still work, so it looks like it's working but never heats anything. It is a piece of junk. We are now going to buy a microwave but we will never buy or keep anything from Sanyo again!
