Review Summary: Great potential, but poor quality control
Review: In the times when the product was working, the result was excellent. We liked the way we could program the unit to cook for a certain number of hours and then have it switch over to warm-mode automatically. The food was evenly cooked, and temperature control didn't seem to be an issue for us.
Here's what went wrong. The first unit we bought failed right out of the box, with a bad on-off switch. Still, once we got to turn it on, it managed (once) to cook an excellent meal. So we swapped it for another of the same model. It worked very well for all of four weeks, but then it started switching OFF without warning mid-cycle, ruining the food before we could realize what had happened.
This is very disappointing, because this model has the potential to be one of the best. But I must conclude there's a quality control issue. I may very well switch brands.

Review: I love this slow cooker it is very simple to use. It is so easy you can
basically pull it right out of box and cook! The crock pulls out from the
base for easy clean up. It has a digital timer that you can set for however long the receipe calls for, the crock pot will then stop cooking and set itself for "warm" after the alloted time. This is a very nice feature. I really love this item.

I have used this to cook a whole chicken and a pork roast with the probe.
Wonderfully moist meat. Of course, it won't brown the chicken, but since I take the skin off anyway, it does not matter. I have also cooked swiss steak. Yum.
