Ingredients for Lemon Filbert Logs Recipe

1 c Butter
3/4 c Brown sugar
1 ts Lemon rind, grated
2-1/2 c Flour
1/4 ts Salt
1 tb Lemon juice
1 Egg white
1 tb Water
1 c Filbert nuts, finely chopped

Lemon Filbert Logs Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and lemon rind until fluffy. Sift together and add flour, salt and lemon juice. Mix well and chill several hours. Shape into logs and roll in beaten egg white or egg yolk mixed with water and then finely chopped filbert nuts.
