Ingredients for Mint Glazed Lamb Recipe

5 lb Leg of lamb
Salt & pepper
1 Jar (10 oz) mint flavored
Apple jelly
1/2 c Dry white wine
2 tb Butter
2 tb Brown sugar
1 ts Grated lemon peel
1/2 ts Dry mustard
3 Bananas (cut in large
Chunks)

Mint Glazed Lamb Preparation

Sprinkle lamb with salt & pepper. Roast in 350 oven for 3 hours. Meanwhile, combine mint jelly, wine, butter, brown sugar, lemon peel & mustard in saucepan; simmer 5 minutes. Baste lamb with sauce during last hour of roasting. Drop bananas in remaining mint sauce; heat for several minutes, serve as accompaniment to lamb.
