Review Summary: outstanding cookbook
Review: I have many Gooseberry Patch cookbooks and enjoy them all. This one has several canning recipes in it, all of which are excellent. In particular the red onion jam is very good played off against cold roast beef on rye :) Other excellent canning recipes are the pear preserves, the green tomato relish and the blueberry jam. I'm sure the other, regular recipes are also excellent, buut the book is new to me and I've been trying out the canning recipes... which are not common in Gooseberry Patch cookbooks, alas.
