Review: Once I started cooking with Bobby Flay, I put all my other cookbooks away. There's nothing one can't do with this fabulous book. The dishes come together so well because of the great variety in the ingredients. While some of the dishes seem complicated, involving lots of prep work, that really is a part of the fun! Great for a group to share in!( The cornmeal coated calamari and spicy dipping sauce, WOW!)

Review: If you like the flavors of the Southwest and are willing to search out the array of chile peppers and exotic ingredients, this book is worth your while. I find that most of the recipes are easy to follow and all of the ones I have tried have turned out spectacularly. The recipes for quesadillas must be some of the best around!

Review: Many books give good recipes but the best teach you how to use ingredients... and not that many effectively deal with the use of chili peppers. Flay's ideas work and many are easy to implement, such as chipolte or balsamic glaze --- then you can use them to garnish or fully spice the meal, depending on your taste
